Terms & Conditions for Taxi Services Ahmedabad

These Terms & Conditions apply to all taxi bookings made with Taxi Services Ahmedabad for local taxi service, airport pickup and drop, outstation taxi, one-way taxi, corporate taxi, wedding taxi and other related travel services.

By using our service, you agree that you have read, understood and accepted these terms. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not confirm the booking.

1. Booking & Confirmation

Taxi booking can be requested through phone call, WhatsApp, website inquiry form or any other communication channel made available by us.

  • A booking is considered confirmed only after ride details, vehicle type, pickup time and fare are discussed and accepted.
  • Customers must provide correct pickup location, drop location, date, time, passenger count and luggage details.
  • For airport pickup, customers should share flight number, arrival time and terminal details where applicable.
  • For outstation travel, customers should clearly mention one-way, round trip, number of days, route plan and expected stops.

Incorrect or incomplete travel details may affect vehicle availability, pickup timing and final fare.

2. Fare, Payment & Extra Charges

Taxi fares may vary depending on vehicle type, travel distance, route, time, trip duration, waiting time and booking category.

  • Final fare should be confirmed on call or WhatsApp before the ride starts.
  • Toll tax, parking charges, state permit, driver allowance, night charges and other route-related expenses may be charged separately if applicable.
  • For outstation trips, minimum kilometre or day-based charges may apply depending on vehicle category and route.
  • For local hourly packages, extra hours or extra kilometres may be charged as per agreed rate.
  • Payment can be made by the method agreed at the time of booking.

Any special pricing, discount or package is valid only for the specific booking discussed and may not apply to future rides.

3. Customer Responsibility

Customers are expected to be available at the pickup location on time and keep their phone reachable for driver coordination.

  • Customers must check their belongings before leaving the vehicle.
  • Customers are responsible for sharing accurate travel details before confirmation.
  • Any damage caused to the vehicle by passengers may be chargeable.
  • Passengers should follow basic safety and local travel rules during the ride.
  • Carrying illegal, unsafe or restricted items in the vehicle is strictly not allowed.

4. Driver & Vehicle Assignment

We try to provide clean and suitable vehicles as per booking requirement. Vehicle model, colour or exact variant may vary depending on availability.

  • Vehicle assignment depends on date, time, location and availability.
  • If the selected vehicle is unavailable due to unavoidable reasons, an alternative vehicle may be offered after informing the customer.
  • Drivers are expected to maintain professional behaviour and assist with normal travel coordination.
  • Drivers may refuse unsafe route changes, illegal requests or activities that may violate law or safety.

5. Waiting Time, Delay & Route Changes

Pickup timing and trip completion may be affected by traffic, weather, road conditions, route restrictions, vehicle breakdown, government restrictions or other factors beyond our control.

  • Waiting charges may apply if the customer is delayed beyond the agreed pickup or waiting time.
  • Additional stops, route changes or extra distance may change the final fare.
  • For airport pickup, delay due to flight timing should be communicated as early as possible.
  • We are not responsible for missed flights, trains, meetings or events caused by traffic, late customer arrival or unavoidable delays.

6. Cancellation & Refunds

Cancellation rules may vary based on booking type, vehicle category, timing and route. Please check our separate Cancellation Policy page for complete details.

  • Last-minute cancellations may attract cancellation charges.
  • If advance payment is collected, refund eligibility will depend on cancellation timing and booking terms.
  • No-show cases may be treated as cancelled after reasonable waiting time.
  • Refunds, if applicable, may take reasonable processing time depending on the payment method.

7. Passenger Safety & Conduct

Passenger safety and decent travel conduct are important during every ride.

  • Passengers should not distract the driver while driving.
  • Smoking, alcohol consumption or misbehaviour inside the vehicle may not be allowed.
  • Seat belt use is recommended wherever applicable.
  • The driver may stop or refuse the ride in case of abusive behaviour, unsafe activity or illegal request.

8. Privacy & Customer Information

We may collect basic booking information such as name, phone number, pickup location, drop location, travel date, time and ride details to provide taxi services.

9. Limitation of Liability

Taxi Services Ahmedabad makes practical efforts to provide reliable travel service. However, we are not liable for indirect losses, missed travel connections, business loss, personal schedule delays or events caused by factors outside our reasonable control.

Customers are advised to keep sufficient travel buffer for airport, railway station, meetings, exams, events and other time-sensitive plans.
